Based in Tipp City, Ohio, RAD is the worldwide leader in robotic accessories. RAD invented the first robotic Collision Sensor in 1984, used to mechanically detect when a robot arm has encountered an obstruction, and to quickly stop the robot to prevent costly damage.

Since our founding, the company has evolved to manufacture robotic end effectors, including Collision Sensors, Compliance Devices, Grippers, Deburring Tools and Tool Changers. Our products are manufactured only in the U.S. using the highest quality material, resulting in superior product performance and endurance.

The RAD customer base extends not only throughout the U.S., but worldwide into 27 countries, and growing. We sell directly to Fortune 100 companies, serving the manufacturing industry (automotive, plastics, castings, industrial plasma cutting, general manufacturing), automation engineering firms, integrators, distributors and the government.
